# Error 517

## ERR\_NGROK\_517

The ACME Challenge `RECORD` is proxied by Cloudflare. Proxying hides the CNAME needed for validation, so we cannot verify the ACME Challenge even though it may be working correctly. If you're experiencing issues with this domain, try disabling the Cloudflare proxy and verify again.
